I watched The Haunting, which I know will send me down the haunted house movie rabbit hole. I now need to watch House on Haunted Hill, which was released in the same year as The Haunting, was also inspired by (although remotely) by Shirley Jackson's novel and is even worse than The Haunting. Though not as bad as Return to House on Haunted Hill (2007).
I'm going through lists of "best haunted house movies", but I've either seen them or I'm not interesting in watching them. So tomorrow I'll probably go on a hunt of "recommended if you like this movie" on IMDB, that usually turns up something I haven't seen before.
