Oh, sorry, love; thought you meant that the fillable forms you wree receiving were not "fillable" for some reason or another--software incompatibility, etc.
I finally broke down and paid a lovely, competent Fiverr fellow (a perfectly normal wage, not "Fiverr pay") to make some for me. He was far superior at it than I, and I got exactly what I wanted; my customers
love them (platform-independent, right?) and all's well that ends well and all that rot.
