according to that log there was no stop in the transition between reading "saving" and "Now", there would have been a brief pause of a second or so while the text from the new chapter is processed but thats it. Are you saying that after reading the word saving the viewer stopped reading aloud and you had to swith to the next chapter and start read aloud again yourself? I dont see any indication of that in the log. Maybe attach an epub file demostrating the issue as well (if its copyrighted opena bug report and attach it otherwise attach it here).
