The color coding is an option I guess, to make it more visually distinct. I"m not sure I like it, it isn't easy to find different colors that are easily readable that wouldn't hurt to look at, especially with the computer switching between day and night theme. I guess it could do in a pinch...
Portable instance is a great idea, unfortunately I'm using a mac, so that's not an option - copying the app, even putting it on the usb drive, refuses to run a different instance.
