I agree with all of that! It's a shame, really and if Reynolds had been toned down, if Parker Posey had too a bit and if Snipes had actually shown up, it mighta worked.

I didn't know anything about "Xtina," when I saw that movie, so I didn't know what to expect. (I mean, for crying out loud, look what they did to "A Star is Born" with Lady Gaga! I didn't know if the star-must-go-on meme was actually going to feature someone who could sing...) and I admit it, I was blown away with that much sound, that much talent, out of such a teeny girl! I was pretty gobsmacked, I admit it. That girl got whacked with the Voice stick. And hell, she can dance, too. Sorry you didn't enjoy it more.

For whatever reason I really want to watch The Haunting (with Liam Neeson), which isn't a good movie but a very entertaining one for me. Unfortunately it isn't available on any streaming in the Netherlands (only as a rent or buy). So I guess I have to wait until I get home and dig out the DVD.

Are you saying that you've never seen The Princess Bride? (Say it ain't so?!) Or do you mean, you didn't see it, as a child (?), when you should have? No universe should exist in which someone hasn't see TPB at least..oh, gosh, I don't know, a dozen times? Easy? The (allegedly) only 'perfect' movie?
