Just decided to take a chance on a refurbished Echo (4th Gen) as it is one of the only devices with an audio in/out jack. I plan to attach my sansa clip to this port and play it through the Echo. None of my Dots have audio IN, they have audio out which won't play from the Sansa Clip. If this doesn't work, I'll send it back. I'll report my results!

I mainly use bluetooth earbuds now and my clips aren't bluetooth. The one Sansa which is bluetooth only works with old bluetooth, it won't work with modern bluetooth such as I have. So I am trying to find another way to use my Clips.

Device received, and I'm happy to say it works! Too bad the Dots don't have the line in feature, I have so many of them and hardly use them. I still use my original Alexa Echo every day, love that one, especially the volume ring at the top. So easy to maneuver in the dark.
