The sixth, and probably last, collection of short fiction by Ernest Favenc, as the small number of now remaining stories have bad page images and/or very bad OCR to the point of needing complete new typing. There are two notional series of short stories which had their own series titles in the original newspaper editions; and a novelet of a hidden civilisation in a deep valley in the mountain fastness of New Guinea, hidden valleys and the like being a popular theme of the period (H Rider Haggard's 'She", Conan Doyle's "The Lost World"; and so on.)
