With my Calibre installations, the connection is terminated after 5 minutes and 7 seconds.
Under Android 11 and my approximately 17,000 book library, "get list of books on device" often takes longer - the result is an error message.
This has been reported to the caliber bug tracker and this timer will be removed in the next release.
