KU is good for finding new authors, so I don't really read a complete book. I'd read prologue [if there is one], first chapter, one or two in the middle and that tells me if I want to discard or go purchase the book considering I only do the KU sub 3 or 4 times per yr. |
The 2year sub is usually around US$140 ($154 with tax last time I bought one in 2021). So, yes, a big savings. Even at full price it is a lot less than buying the books. My wife has more time to read than I have, and she devours romance novels, mostly series, like water.
