Look at the eBooks' properties or "Product details". The book by Grisham has DRM, the one by Fawcett doesn't. It doesn't say "protected by DRM" on Grisham's book. However, it says "Simultaneous device usage: Unlimited" on Fawcett's. So it's the absence of such a property that means the book has DRM.
