I'm surprised at the amount of people stripping DRM from Kindle Unlimited books (or at least the amount of discussion about it). It just doesn't seem quite cricket to me. KU books are rentals and because of their streaming nature the books should be read with WiFi on to ensure the author is properly reimbursed.
Stripping DRM to read them on another device feels wrong. Similar to doing the same with library books. In both cases, there's a give and take to reading these books for free or at a reduced price.
If you want to read Kindle Unlimited, get a Kindle and read on it.
