Notorious serial killer Harold Shipman [AKA Doctor Death] was found dead this morning, the result of an apparent suicide. Clutched in his hand was an ebook reader. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that he had been reading The Elevator, by Don Broyles, a reclusive editor of a strange website for the demented called Ebookieuse, which caters (apparently) to very boring and repetitious self-promotional material devoted to ebooks and (strangely enough) to the occasional misplaced promotion of applications.

Police are currently reading The Elevator. At this point, they have no comment, although one officer threw up in a trash receptacle near her desk. They have no idea what to make of The Elevator, even as they continue to scratch their heads in what may be described as bewilderment and confusion - although it may actually be a case of dandruff.
