I suspect your keyboard (key) may be failing. Depending on the contact design, dirt/goo builds up on the contact plunger, domes crack or clicky types develop contact bounce (might be the cause of the 2 pages).
I tried PgDn and could not get it to miss behave.

You can use the space bar for Next screen when the Viewer (or preview in the Editor) has focus
