There is improved handwriting conversion.
You need WiFi working one time.
Turn on WiFi
Make sure it's actually working by trying web browser.
Then try to open or create an Advanced Notebook.
It's not a regular sync, but an update, so it works in "sideloadedMode=true" setting in the config file. A regular sync only works if you are logged in / registered (even if fake email) and "sideloadedMode=false" or missing in the config file.
I've updated several sages that have "sideloadedMode=true" to 4.35.x via USB after PC download and allowed WiFi once for the "sort of sync" needed to update the handwriting conversion and dictionaries.
I also found with this FW, if I changed UI to Spanish, did an Advanced notebook with accented text, changed back to English it now allows accents, though not always recognising them, sometimes you get a single quote or apostrophe.
