milliwatts

Hi All,
65 watts is high, many mobile devices use processors that use power measured in milliwatts.

Intel is a few years away from producing a CPU that uses such a small amount of power. ARM CPU's tend to use power in Milliwatts.
Intel is good, but there core market is supplying powerful cpu's

For a book reader battery life has got to be king, as in fact it was in the original game boy.
Was the game boy the best hand held, no way, but it had the best battery life hands down and of course any device has to be light.
So not only does it have to have long battery life, but a small battery.

Perhaps some one will produce a reader with a built in solar panel to recharge on the fly.

I held off buying a book reader because I wanted my reader to have a back light. I decided this was not going to arrive soon, so bought the Cybook, which I love.

Regards
