Currently 28 degrees F. at 2:00 AM here. Saturday it actually felt good walking in the evening to go to the pool, but it was very windy, especially on one block where the health club is. I don't like it cold, especially since my knee got so bad, but it was so awful a few days ago when it was damp, rainy and not as cold. We still have not had any accumulation of snow. There were flurries Saturday.
It is nice that the heat stayed on after 10 PM. Buildings are not required to have the heat on between 10pm to 6am if the temperature is above 32. Friday night it was about 33-34 and there was no heat until morning. That's what the law allows in New York.
