if its anything like the soccer takedown, it would take all of 10 minutes to find some new not-quite-Z library offering the exact same thing, still working.

& i read the counter argument that Z provided essential research materials in countries where a legit academic subscription costs several years wages, but that's a debate for a different forum.

meanwhile, back with amazon, I wonder if one reason they are aggresively marketing KU free trials again is because less people are buying, with all the DRM added hassles
