Epub suddenly not working

Hello, I was adding epubs today and suddenly couldn't open them. It's as if every file is corrupted even though there is nothing different in the way I get the epubs or how I add them. I've been searching for the errors quite a lot but nothing seems to work, would be thankful for some help.

This is the first time I'm adding something in five days. Another thing to mention would be that books that I have been able to open and read before, has stopped opening and showing the same error message as well. I've tried to update to a newer version + older one I knew worked but alas, nothing. However, converting them to mobi and then opening them seem to work mostly but this is not what I want (or am used to), I like the ease of use and the way I can just click and it opens up.

Here's the error message:
ERROR! Loading book failed.

calibre, version 6.11.0
