Russell Banks - important literary author dies at age 82
Russell Banks, an admired author of fiction and poetry, has died at age 82.
He was the author of two novels that were finalists for 1986 and 1999 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction: Continental Drift and Cloudsplitter.
Trailerpark, a collection of short stories, is a book I very much admire.
A great American writer...now gone.
