Yes, it is safe. Amazon is not going to know or tell you that you have JB.

For collections, you can try creating collections on JB-Kindle and replacing the collections.json file in the system folder on non-JB-Kindle.

When Kindle is connected via USB, open it, and manually enter “/system” to the address bar. This will bring you to the the hidden folder.

Backup the file first, of course, and be careful.
