This is probably the last volume of the uncollected tales of Ernest Favenc. There is still material but is rather longer; two newspaper serial novels, never reprinted; and a handful of multi-part tales which are of novellette or greater length. I think for the moment I'm all favenced out. This issue, incidentally, includes a single example of his verse. There are ghost tales, weird tales, comedy, even satire, mostly within the bounds of Australia in the late 19th century. And the wistful tale of a schoolboy who wants to be a bushranger.
