Next year is the big year. Disney's Steamboat Willie was released in 1928 and it's impending public domain release has caused so many problems with US copyright. Let's see if there isn't some 11th hour extension suddenly put in place this year.

I'm hopeful that once that happens and Disneyland doesn't spontaneously combust we will stop getting these crazy copyright extensions.
