Hello people
I would like to send a warm hello to everyone that likes to read on either e-readers or tablets. I hope this will be a good place to discuss different forms of software that can help me read.
To give a little background about myself, I do know how to read and pronounce words, but the problem I'm having is I can't keep my attention to a book like I used to do. There have been some apps that I used for what I want an e-reader to do, and that is feature a Text-To-Speech add-on that would highlight ONE word at a time to another. I didn't want it to highlight an entire sentence, and I didn't want it to work like the Word Runner on the Kindle app on my tablets. I want the book page to be in full screen and have one word be highlighted in a color of my choice and do the same for the next one. It's helped me follow along and I was able to finish some books I had in my backlog.
Problem is that some of those apps on an Android tablet don't really translate a book well, like they don't match with how a Kindle book looks on either an e-reader or tablet. Closest thing I found that does what I want it to is the Calibre e-book viewer but there's a flaw about it that I want to address in a separate topic.
