Calibre has an editor that can edit azw3. So you open the converted azw3 and edit the main margin settings in the CSS file, because 0 for everyone except Amazon is zero, but with Amazon Kindle it's about +45 pixels at left & right.
Convert one epub to azw3 in Calibre and send it via USB Send to Device when Kindle connected and you will see.
But if your K4NT is the original Firmware you are best to update the Kindle Firmware first using the File and instructions on the Amazon link.

Is there away to still get the apps/plugins on to the K4NT??? And you mentioned "I did jailbreak a DXG but apart from making system fonts nicer and having the book cover as sleep screen no advantage.
" as sad as it may be have a book cover as sleep screen is kinda nice(had it on kobo) so is it still possible?
