Fingerprint sensor works fine for me, no issues. I only have one finger registered and when I press the button with the correct finger, it's unlocking without showing the passcode screen.
And yes, boox devices have a steeper "learning curve" compared to something like a kindle, but it's kinda rewarding, in the end they are way more powerful.
