Many go off without a hitch. But there are a few that replaced a 'piece' that does not play well until a reboot. These are NOT the ones that do show REBOOT REQUIRED.

I am old school. My desktop PC (W10 pro, It is too old for W11) is wired to the router and CC (I have the last version from the original creators), works fine from my Tablet via WiFi.

Do Whitelist (exception) Calibre.exe (or the whole Calibre Program folder) with your firewall and see if that helps.

And don't get me started on W11 moving all the setting/configuration menus around. IMHO W7 did a great job of sorting out the mess inherited from W3. Yes, I started with MSDOS 2.0 . I skipped WME and W8
Thanks for the info. Magically overnight, it all started to work. I wish I knew why... Both CC and CS are connecting to Calibre and the Content Server and through OneDrive, none of which it was doing last night.

I'll keep in mind the whitelisting (which doesn't appear to be as easy as it sounds for McAfee) in case it happens again.
