You do realise it's perfectly possible to use the Sage as "a simple 8 inch reader without the pen", right?

I have had my Sage over a year now and still don't even own a pen to use with it. The battery life has got better in that time too. Not great, but better.

As "a simple 8 inch reader" the Sage is superb, as evidenced by the fact that I have a Libra H2O as my more pocket-friendly reader for going out but that's the only time I use it.

My Storygraph stats show that I've read nearly 450 books and over 150K pages (clicks) in 2022, and upward of 90% of that was on the Sage. I suspect that's A LOT more real world experience of Sage use than the Ranting Omniscient One has had.
