Since I'm going to stay at my sister's for two nights (we'll be watching Glass Onion and probably The Witcher prequel) I decided to watch my non Christmas Christmas movie, Who Framed Roger Rabbit last night. I also watched Knives Out. Both were, as usual, excellent.
If memory serves, I thought the final POTC movie was pretty abysmal. Was underwhelmed by Glass Onion, too, but apparently, lots of other folks found it humorous. I suspect I'm just...not a real comedy person. (Shocking, I know, you're all shocked to hear that!). Kate Hudson is a living testament to the power of nepotism in Hollyweird.

(Although this is a telly thread--I stopped reading the Peter Grant books. After that last one, with the murder at the tech company--OMG, that book was so tediously boring and bland...The Nightingale is almost totally MIA, the various supernatural beings, the dog Toby, etc. and it's all Peter, all the time, and bloody preggers BEVERLY, as if anyone cares. I mean...really? You'd almost think that the author was pregnant, given the endlessly dreary writing about her.)

I'm hoping that the Witcher Prequel will be fun. Thought I'd save it for suitable Xmas day bingeing!
