Empirically-minded posters will be pleased to hear that I accidentally tested this on Friday, with an Aura One and Epsom salts. It survived the encounter with no ill-effects. It was only in the tub for a couple of seconds, and I rinsed it at once in cold water. I suspect I'll be using a reading stand from now on.

What is IPA in this context? I'm pretty sure you're not recommending rinsing in India Pale Ale...
