One more question. In the tutorial it is highlighted to stay permanently in airplain mode after doing the jb. In other words do I loose all the benefits of having the ability to upload books, pdf's etc over WiFi? That's a real bummer. Is it ok to exit airplane mode briefly until I upload my things? (and probably I go and check the
Amazon site to be sure there are no new fw updates released before I do this)
Also if something goes wrong, can I still recover my device by entering dfu mode (or whatever) as described in the hardware jailbreak (popcorn) thread?
