Hello,

I bought Note 2 two years ago and screen cracked after month or two.
It is usable and I am reading on it without any issues because you get used to it.

I have two questions

1) What will happen if I manually remove glass layer? Will it still work? It is already broke into small pieces.

2) Adding glass layer - Why? I mean there is no a single reason to add glass layer. It cracks, it adds unnecessary reflections and thus text is less sharp.

And a rant:
I had to pay customs for my Note 2 and whole thing cost me around $750. After contacting Onyx they said they don't cover damage caused by cracking glass. After questioning them why did they add glass screen when no one was asking for that feature and if they add it why they added the most cheapest and fragile glass they did not answer me. I am glad that Amazon is breaking into this field because communicating with their customer support was a nightmare. I never recommend anyone to buy Onyx, whoever asks me I redirect them to something else.
