sdcardfs is deprecated in Android 11.

I was looking into this stuff. I can't see that anybody has ever done this yet.
All the mounting with sdcardfs comes from the /system/bin/sdcard in init.rc
You'd need to get rid of that.
You might be able to replace it with some more lines in the fstab.
Still, there are a lot of options and I'm not sure.
I'll try to get it working on my Poke3.

It's still worth pursuing with Onyx.
(You could also break your humongous directory down to smaller ones.)
