First line indentation style of epub file

Hi all,

I have downloaded a novel in *.txt format. I opened it in MS Word just to apply heading style to the section lines for creating TOC. Then I saved it to *.docx format and converted that to epub with Calibre.

I checked the epub in Calibre and there is no first line indentation of each paragraph: it looks exactly as in the original *.txt and *.docx files.

I sent the epub to Kindle and when it's opened in my Kindle app in iPad, each paragraph has first line indentation.

However, I don't have the first line indentation when I read the same epub in the Apple's "Books" app in my iPad.

I wonder are there any settings or things I can do to adjust the first line indentation width or completely get rid of the indent if I want to stick with the Kindle app?

Thanks for reading!

Jake
