There is currently on ebay an Iliad with a bad battery. I asked whether it was 1st or 2nd edition. She doesn't know but gives the following specs:

Product Type ER0100,
ID 00-16-7c-00-27 0a,
Software 2.12
On the back it says 01-0100-002-000-0000

Can anyone tell me if this is a 2nd edition device? I have the expertise to change the batteries, but I want a 2nd edition device.
