I think I'm fine in that respect, it will just be laborious.
I have Calibre but I used a website someone here on this forum created.

1 book at a time, but wirelessly.
I'll just to make a list of all books on it, and I don't think I've kept copies of the ebooks I sideloaded so I'll have to obtain those again also.
A slight update,
I still have not done the factory reset on the device because I saw there's a new firmware update out. So I've a bit of blind hope I'll install it and the issues will get fixed.
I have not used the device much since, I pulled out my Kindle 4th gen for the past few days.
This morning I tried using the Kobo and the touchscreen input worked as I opened the device for 5 clicks, then it stopped.
I restarted the reader multiple times, connected it to my laptop, and the touchscreen is still unresponsive.
And now as I type this, it decided to work again. Let's see for how long.
I've checked for updates and still no suggestion of a new firmware to install.
