There are certain books that cost just way more to produce, and you'll find them with a tag the double of a normal book (or more).

But I agree for standard books. They should have said 14,99 though... I mean the Sony Library barely has any books available under $14!
I've never paid more than $11.99 for any book on the Sony store, and have bought (non-free) at least 100 books. But it might have to do with what I read (I read Romance, History, and popular fiction mostly).
