The Bookmark Sync option actually does more than bookmarks and is able to set progress & status on Kobo from columns or read from Kobo to columns. I used it just today to update books copied to a new Sage. Seems to work with any Kobo by default, but "profiles" can also be created. Brilliant work by recently Late Davidfor.
Simpler option, though a bit hidden: Update metadata in device library.
