You could upload epub to smashwrords.com and then it's on Apple, Kobo, Barnes&Noble etc as well as Smashwords worldwide.
For only Smashwords Kindle customers you can upload dual mobi made in Calibre from epub2. Amazon (And Google) too should get the same epub; never upload doc or docx.

If you used Fixed Layout or something else strange then Kindle users can't buy it, only App or Fire users depending on format.
