There may be at least 3 kinds of Wacom Stylus (Originals like Serial tablet & USB Bamboo uses, and several EMR types are main groups).
Then there are the systems not compatible with any Wacom type. At least Apple Pencil and the kind that is compatible with MS Surface and Kobo.

Unless someone has verified a particular device is 100% Scribe compatible with Wacom EMR it uses, don't buy a 3rd party. Any compatible Wacom EMR is only going to work exactly like the Basic or Premium Wacom EMR with Scribe. You can't get low storage Scribe without Basic Wacom EMR and can't get high storage Scribe without Premium Wacom EMR and AFAIK the only difference is number of buttons. If you get the Scribe for PDFs (and no other reason comes to mind), then you need the higher storage versions that only come with Premium Wacom EMR pen.
