I subscribe to a newspaper that I read on my desktop computer, and also on my Fire Tablet. In both cases, I used a browser to access the paper which comes as a pdf.

I have experimented with transferring the pdf to my Kindle, but I have found that the experience has not been good. The basic issue is that the e-edition of our paper is a pdf of the paper in its entirety. When reading it using a browser, I can expand the image to read the small print. But I can't easily do that with my Kindle.

I haven't asked our paper if they are set up to deliver directly to Kindles, but I suspect that Kindle readers would not be viewed as compatible devices.
