Y'know, I recently redid (watched) Elementary--I found myself liking the Watson character a lot less than I did initially.

I have never been gaga for the Cumberbatch version. it's okay, nothing horrible around it, just not my cuppa.

My next binge is no doubt going to be a triple-header--Jeremy Brett as Holmes; Suchet as Poirot and Joan Hickson as Miss Marple, lol. (Probably as soon as I finish my Midsomer Murders binge. I'm in S12 now.)

That always seems to restore my faith in Telly-kind. There's just something about that clip-clop of horses' hooves, in the (ubiquitous) opening scenes of Midsomer that suits me. :-)
