New Yorker epub continues to fail email to KIndle

UPDATE: This issue seems to have been fixed with an updated recipe in Calibre (v6.10)

At least three or four weeks now.

I have tried the epub book check and there are XML "forbidden" errors that cannot be automatically corrected. I don't know how to correct them manually. Obviously they are fatal enough that Amazon doesn't recognize this as a legitimate epub.

Converting the downloaded epub to azw3, then extracting an epub from the azw3 using Kindle Unpack creates an epub file that sails through Amazon with no complaints.

Must be something in the New Yorker website content and the recipe that isn't clicking in the conversion to epub process and is creating fatal errors.

Each week on Monday the New Yorker fails to pass muster with Amazon while The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post are downloaded that same day as epubs and pass through Amazon without issue. Same with 8 other publications that I have scheduled for download at regular intervals. All consistently pass through Amazon without any problem, but The New Yorker always fails lately.

I also ran the successful epub created by extraction from an azw3 through the epub check, just out of curiosity. There were a host of "errors" but obviously none were fatal enough to cause the email to Kindle to fail. (The item, uncorrected, had already been emailed successfully) These errors were easily "automatically corrected" with one click of a button. The errors in the originally downloaded epub could not all be automatically corrected.
