Oh, this is far, far *worse* than I originally thought!

: (
I thought because the first few books that were showing in my library were the ones I had put on from Calibre, after I had downloaded them by USB and added them to Calibre.
NOPE. The re-registering DELETED ALL of the books I had put on my Kindle using Calibre.

What was showing was what was in my Amazon library as undownloaded but available to do so.
Which is NOT want I was to see! And I cannot figure out HOW to get my Kindle now to STOP showing these. I keep hitting the CLEAR button with regards with what I want displayed, but the damn things will NOT go away.

Oh, they sure as hell were. Having me do that SERIOUSLY SCREWED ME UP.
Things were so messed up I ended up using the RESET option and just
started all over again.
**SIGH** What a mess!

I'm don't understand what you are saying. What I have showing are all the books in my Amazon library -- but none of them are downloaded right now.
Are you saying I need to download everything in my Amazon content library (which is like 850+ items!) and -- then what? How do I get them to stop showing the undownloaded items on my Kindle?
Right now the only way Amazon is giving me is to *permanently delete* them from my Amazon library to stop them from showing on my Kindle!

Add them to Calibre.
Transfer by Send to Device.
If you skip the de-drm step you can only transfer books since re-registered. The previously downloaded ones may have wrong DRM code.

Well, that's what I did in the past and would do so again, if I can figure out HOW to stop my Kindle from showing all the undownloaded books in my Amazon content library.
That Amazon associate really, seriously screwed me up BADLY!
So --

again! Someone? Anyone?
PLEASE.
