I recently patched my Libra2 out of curiosity and installed NM and the KOreader without that KFMon.
On holiday I only got to read one book, but now I've just finished reading my second one on an e-ink and have to say that I'm starting to appreciate my Kobo.

If you just want to read without looking up pictures or anything on the internet, the compactness, light weight and buttons for page turning is really not bad.
With my KePubs, the word spacing in justification and hyphenation is sometimes a bit large, but it didn't bother me too much. (Marvin3 on iOS works better).

The fact that the KOreader doesn't have an integrated browser is an absolute anti-feature for me, I'd rather stay with the native one.

tl;dr I like the Kobo more and more
