It is quite a contrast, isn't it? Have you read Nathan Lowell's Solar Clipper series? Starting with
Quarter Share? There the trading is even more front and centre. It's not, perhaps, as deeply nuanced as the Liaden Universe, but they're delightful stories none-the-less.
