For those of you who might be less into cutting people's bodies up .... here's my Max with annotations.
The uterus has actually been sectioned such that the portion attached to the cervix has been removed from the upper part of the uterus, which contained the tumor. The upper portion of the uterus, and the tumor, have been cross sectioned, with the two halves left attached.
So, what you are looking at is two pieces of the organ, with the top piece splayed open.
The tumor was essentially crushing my uterus. It was a little over 7 pounds when it was removed. Max, a bouncing 7 pound 4 ounce mass.
