You must have missed my point: I wholeheartedly do *not* want to do that. Ever.

Because it's a terrible idea that will break shit in fun and interesting ways on most halfway recent devices and risks creating a support hellscape for third-party apps started that way.

(Also, the point is moot for KSM because it *already* does that. We're exempt of the support hellscape because it doesn't actually support newer devices without a lot of hoop-jumping, which effectively severely restricts the amount of crazy people using it on said devices).
