The Novice's Tale is $1.99 in the US right now. And most of the rest of the series seems to have dropped a bit in price, mostly to $4.99 which is too high IMO for old backlist, but not the $7.99 to $8.99 I was remembering. And
The Novice's Tale is also only £0.99 at Kindle UK, where some of the other books in the series are in the £2 - £4 range.
