That reminds me of where we spent the 12 years before moving here.......an average of 44" rain per year. That would be about 1117 in mm, right?

Because it was a hilly area, nary a worry about flooding, just had to try and cut the grass often enough since it grew so quickly during the summer!

I remember one 24 hr period, a total of 11" 279mm and you couldn't even tell after the sun came out. We figured it all ran into the lake.....
