These guys are based in my geographic area, and have a good track record for their technology comments/advice - both are former Apple Store Genius Bar dudes.
That was a really great review.

Not that I was ever considering buying a Scribe (way out of my budget), but it really did cement my view of the device. Personally, I just don't see any advantage of using the scribe over an ipad or other ereader brands (onyx boox, for one) that already specializes in note taking. Also considering how closed-off Amazon's eco system is.

I just can't justify that price tag...
